#Toronto traffic is brutal when the Gardener Expressway is closed. The Annual Gardiner Fall Maintenance is underway and the highway was closed in both directions between Humber River to Carlaw. The Saturday shutdown started at 2am and will reopen on Monday September 17, 2012 at 5am.
"Annual Gardiner Fall Maintenance, including annual sign maintenance/inspection and potential new sign projects, annual repaint/inspection of pavement markings, catch basin cleaning, guide rail repair, bridge joints cleaning, RESCU camera cleaning, cabinet maintenance, Rehab project on Gardiner from York to Jarvis, RESCU PMCMS project."
Coming back out of Toronto I had a rough time on the 401 Westbound as the collectors had a number of lanes shutdown. It never rains but it pours.
