Fall coming to the Bluffs

Posted by SOTTO Wednesday, September 5, 2012 , , ,

With the 2012 #Toronto CNE over and students going back to school the unofficial start of fall can begin. I have already started seeing leaves changing colours and it is cooling off at night. The Scarborough Bluffs is one of the best places in Toronto to enjoy the seasons bright beauty from Bluffer's Park. Peak colours tend to happen between mid-September to mid-October in the GTA.
Fall officially begins Saturday September 22, 2012 and some other excellent fall foliage views can be found along the Don Valley Parkway, Rouge Valley and in High Park. Around the GTA the Caledon (check out the Cheltenham Badlands) and Orangeville areas are spectacular while west of the GTA you can find spectacular views and waterfalls along the Niagara Escarpment (waterfall tours coming up).

Check the Ontario Parks fall colour report here. See more of the bluffs in fall after the jump.
