Baby koala scared to cross trees so mommy comes back to help.
Two koalas fight in an enclosure at the zoo, in Sydney, Australia. When disturbed, koalas are known to be violent, their teeth and claws capable of causing considerable injury.
This little koala named Raymond. He was found weak and abandoned on a roadside in Brisbane, Australia.
Raymond, who was named after the man who found him, was dehydrated and skinny, and weighed just 260g. The carers thought this 2/3-month-old koala wouldn't survive because he weighed so little and wouldn't feed properly.
Raymond's caretaker, Julie Zyzniewski said, "He had to be coaxed to feed. He was frail and his future was uncertain. Suddenly, one day he decided life wasn't so bad and he has been absolutely powering along ever since."
Now, Raymond sits at Julie's desk all day, where she is able to feed him his diet of special bottle formula every three hours.
